ALT/CIR/SEA Handbook
The ALT Handbook contains a collection of information for ALTs about how to adapt to teaching methodologies in Japanese schools and to their workplaces.
Teaching Materials Collection
The Teaching Materials Collection is a compilation of teaching resources handed down by current and former JET Programme participants. It comprises a number of teaching activities and games that have worked well for ALTs and can hopefully help you with your everyday work as an ALT in Japan.

While many Japanese people may know the word “ALT,” comparatively few are aware of the JET Programme and the fact that it places ALTs in schools all over Japan.
In order to spread awareness of the JET Programme and its over 30 years of history, the CLAIR staff have created a set of basic JET Programme Introduction Tools for use in your self-introduction. These tools can be used as is, or modified by you to match your audience (students, school staff, parents/guardians, members of the local community, etc.). The PDF files of the PowerPoint can be printed out and used as handouts.

The SEA Handbook compiles information about the current state of sports in Japanese schools, advice on sports coaching in Japan, and information for daily life as a SEA.
