117th Independence Day Celebration

The Police Regional Office ARMM joins the whole nation in observing the 117th anniversary of the proclamation of the Philippine Independence Day.

The whole police force of the PRO will be placed under full alert status a day before the commemoration of the Philippine Independence. Maximum deployment of the police officers in all places of engagements will be ensured to maintain peace and order during the celebration of the Independence Day. Moreover, security coverage and civil disturbance management in all places of engagement will be provided.

While the PNP respects the freedom of speech of every Filipino citizen, the PRO nonetheless implements maximum tolerance during mass protests.

Likewise, the PRO ARMM leadership further reminds police personnel to always observe the Revised PNP Police Operational Procedure (PO) 2013 and place the highest respect to human rights in conducting CDM operations during possible mass protests in the celebration of Independence Day.

PRO ARMM encourages the public to provide the police with relevant and timely information on other unscrupulous activities which may disrupt the peaceful celebration of Independence Day though social media (Twitter-@proarmm & @PNPhotline or Facebook Page-Philippine National Police & PNP Pro Armm Bulletin) or through the following Dial 117 or text 2920; and Isumbong mo kay TSIP 09178475757.
