Procedure in Reporting of Incidents Involving Visiting Forces Personnel

The PNP leadership advises all its personnel especially in areas where Visiting Forces Activities (VFA) will be conducted to use the SMS Incident Reporting and Management procedure in reporting incidents involving Visiting Forces personnel.

The concerned CPS/MPS/Numbered Station and PPO/District Office that have jurisdiction in the area where the incident occurred will immediately send through SMS text blast an initial report to offices/units which include the Directorate for Plans (DPL) and Directorate for Intelligence (DI). DPL will then immediately inform PCVF and DFA through telephone call and SMS while DI will submit report to DFA through e-mail.
