Parang, Maguindanao – The PRO BAR culminated its celebration of 25th Police Community Relation Month with the theme, “Pinaigting na Ugnayan ng Mamamayan at Pulisya, Laban sa COVID-19 Pandemya” on July 29, 2020 at the Grandstand of Camp BGen Salipada K Pendatun, Parang, Maguindanao.
Atty. Esmael A Panda, Regional Director of National Police Commission – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao was the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the event.
In his message, Atty Panda encouraged all personnel of PRO BAR to strive hard and exert more efforts to achieve their goals and dreams.
Meanwhile, Police Brigadier General Manuel M Abu together with Atty. Panda and the PRO BAR Command Group led the awarding of outstanding PNP personnel and units with valuable contribution in promoting police community relations in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
The awardees were Police Lieutenant Debrah B Espeña as Outstanding PCR PCO of the year 2020; PSSg Abdulazes S Mamailao, as Outstanding Junior PCR PNCO of the year 2020 and NUP Rowena Quitor Bacas as Outstanding PCR Non-Uniformed Personnel of the year 2020. Also awarded in the unit category was Maguindanao Police Provincial Office, as outstanding Police Provincial Office for PCR of the year 2020.
Plaques of Appreciation were also given to the following individuals for their valuable contribution in PRO BAR programs and unwavering support to the Philippine National Police. They are:

The purpose of the celebration of the Police Community Relation Month is to develop closer interaction between the community and police in handling peace and order problems.
