Parang, Maguindanao – 2,814 MILF and MNLF members availed the 2nd Batch Free NAPOLCOM Special Qualifying Eligibility Exam (NSQEE) Review scheduled on May 20-23, 2022, following the successful conduct of the 1st batch held last May 17-20, 2022 with 3,010 participants.
 
NAPOLCOM Resolution No. 2022-0081, dated February 8, 2022, mandated the conduct of NSQEE for the qualified members of the MILF and MNLF. This is in line with the realization of the provision in the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL), allowing the MILF and MNLF members to join the Philippine National Police.
 
Under this Resolution, the appointment can only be used SOLELY for the rank of Patrolman/Patrolwoman in a TEMPORARY Appointment and cannot be used as permanent appointment nor for promotion purposes and cannot be used for other positions in the Civil Service.
 
The Bangsamoro Government, headed by Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim, responded with willingness to sponsor the Free Review and administrative coach for the participants to enhance their knowledge and to answer with confidence the questions given by the NAPOLCOM.
 
Further, participants from Basilan may also avail the FREE review on May 22-25, 2022 in Lamitan, Basilan while participants in Sulu may attend the review on May 23-25 to be held at MSU Sulu. Same activity was successfully done in Tawi-Tawi last May 18-20, 2022.
 
Meanwhile, 11,000 applicants are expected to take the exam on May 29, 2022, while only 5,060 successful qualified applicants were set to be part of the police service.
 
PRO BAR, with the PNP Recruitment and Selection Service, is determined to render support to the Bangsamoro Government and the National Police Commission in facilitating the conduct of the NAPOLCOM Special Qualifying Eligibility Examination. Also, PRO BAR is committed to help and prepare for the entry of the MILF and MNLF to the PNP Organization.
