    Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region personnel under the leadership of Police Brigadier General Eden T Ugale, Regional Director, arrested 15 individuals and recovered 19 loose firearms during the 1-day law enforcement operations conducted across the Bangsamoro Region on November 29, 2021.

    Report from Regional Operations Division of PRO BAR disclosed that out of the 15 arrested individuals, 11 were arrested for violations of special laws while the remaining 4 were Wanted Persons including a Top Most Wanted Abu Sayyaf Group member in Sulu, who had a standing warrant of arrest for Complex Crime with Double Frustrated Murder and Double Attempted Murder.
 
    Further, the recovered nineteen (19) unlicensed firearms were comprised of six (6) units of caliber .38 revolvers, five (5) units of caliber .45 pistol, two (2) units of caliber .22 revolver, two (2) units shotgun, two (2) units homemade pistol, and one (1) unit of 9mm pistol. Said operation also yielded positive on the anti-illegal drug campaign as it resulted to the confiscation of more or less 17.48 grams of "shabu" with estimated market value of one hundred eighteen thousands, eight hundred sixty-four pesos (PHP 118,864.00).
 
    PBGen Ugale, commended the relentless efforts of the PRO BAR cops for the notable accomplishments in a 1-day region wide Law Enforcement Operations.
“Let us continue our good efforts to intensify our campaign against wanted persons, criminalities and all forms of illegal activities to ensure the maintenance of peace and order in the Bangsamoro region as the 2022 National and Local Election is fast approaching”, PBGen Ugale said.
 
  The Regional Director also assures the public of the PROs' untiring commitment to curb all forms of criminality in the region. He stressed that PRO BAR continuously maximizes its potential and efforts and will remain relentless in its anti-criminality campaign to ensure a safe and peaceful conduct of the upcoming May 2022 National and Local Elections.
