           A quick Police response conducted by the elements of Bongao MPS led by PMAJ ANNIDUL M SALI, led to a successful arrest of 3 drug peddlers and confiscation of Php 176, 800 worth of shabu along the road of Brgy Sanga-Sanga, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi on November 8, 2021.

          Report from Bongao MPS identified the arrested suspects as: RUSTOM HADJALUDDIN SHALIM, 29 yrs old, male; SUAREZ BAKKUSAN AULUDDIN, 34 yrs old, male; and JESS TAMIYANG ALIAKBAR, all residents of Brgy Sanga-Sanga, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

           The arrests of the suspects were made possible through the report from a concerned citizen regarding the ongoing drug selling at the aforementioned place that prompted the personnel of Bongao MPS, who were during that time conducting regular police visibility and mobile patrol, to immediately respond that resulted to the arrest of the suspects who were caught in the act engaging in illegal drug activity.
            Confiscated from the possession and control of the suspects were the following: Three (3) pieces of heat-sealed transparent sachets containing White crystalline granules believed to be Shabu MOL 23.000 grams with Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 156,400.00; Twenty Four (24) pieces of transparent plastic straws containing White crystalline granules believed to be Shabu MOL 3.000 grams with Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 20,400.00; and other drug paraphernalia.
            The suspects are now under the custody of Bongao MPS, they will face charges for violation of RA 9165.
