           Elements of Bongao MPS led by PMAJ Annidul M Sali answered a call from a concerned citizen reporting about an ongoing drug peddling at the vicinity of Brgy Lamion, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, Tuesday morning of October 11, 2021.

            The said elements were conducting a mobile patrol when the call was received and was able to act abruptly resulting in the arrest of the peddlers identified as: a. ALMORSID SINTAAN ALLIAN a.k.a AL TATTOO, 41 yrs old, male, married, Filipino, and a resident of Brgy Lamion, Bongao, Tawi-Taw; and b. DIANA ASULA ALLIAN, 33 y/o, female, married, Filipino, and a resident of Brgy Lamion, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

            The operatives were able to seize from the possession of the suspects some 16.25 grams of shabu worth P110, 500.00 and other drug paraphernalia. The suspects will be charged in violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.

            Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in its aim to sustain the gains of the PNPs campaign against illegal drugs has received positive support and cooperation from the populace of the Bangsamoro Region. This is not the first instance that a crime was reported immediately with the help of the concerned individuals.
