           Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, in its stringent and continuous fight against illegal drugs, successfully conducted buy-bust operations in separate events which resulted in the successful arrest of 4 illegal drug peddlers and confiscation of 15.01 grams of illegal drugs worth P94, 200.

            In a report on Friday, Lamitan CPS, 1st BPMC, and RMFB-BASULTA under the supervision of PMAJ NURHAIB A BUNGKAC-OIC in coordination with PDEA BAR conducted Buy-bust operation at Riverside, Brgy. Matibay, Lamitan City, Basilan around 4:10 P.M on October 07, 2021.

            The said operation resulted in the arrest of ARTHUR ABDUHALIM Y Kahal, male, 29 years old, born on March 16, 1992, married, businessman and a resident of Riverside, Brgy. Matibay, Lamitan City, Basilan. Confiscated in his possession is MOL P33,000.00 of shabu with an estimated weight of 6.010 grams.

            On the same date, joint personnel of MARAWI CPS and PIU LDS PPO conducted Buy Bust Operation that resulted in the arrest of illegal peddlers identified as: a. JALIL LANGCO NATANGCOP aka OTTO, 36 years old, resident of Brgy Raya Saduc, Marawi City; b. ABDULFATTAH PAMOWADAN SUBAER aka MARA, 22 years old, resident of Brgy Bubong, Saguiaran, LDS; and c. FARHAN DANGCAL DIDA-AGUN aka OGGIE, 25 years old, resident of Brgy Sagunsungan.

            Seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated weight of 9 grams with estimated DDB Value of Php 61,200.00 was confiscated from the possession of the said peddlers at Pumping, Brgy Raya Saduc, Marawi City.

            Appropriate charges are now being prepared for filing against the arrested suspects.

            Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, in its recent successes in buy-bust operations, is sustaining the gains of its anti-illegal drugs campaign. Coupled with more aggressive operations that targets both small-scale and big-time drug personalities, we will remain relentless in this thrust that navigates towards lasting peace for the Bangsamoro Region.
