The continuing manhunt operations against wanted persons of Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region yielded further success with the arrest of a suspect for a crime of murder together with his cohort for violation of R.A 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 and R.A 10591 - the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

            Report from Tawi-Tawi PPO disclosed that at about 5:50 PM of September 1, 2021, operatives of Bongao MPS served the Warrant of Arrest at Brgy Pakias, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, against the suspect for the crime of MURDER, AL-NAZAR J. ABDAIN who was coincidentally with his cohort RASH JALILUL SAHIDJANI.

            During the conduct of the operation the said suspects were caught in the act while repacking Marijuana and White crystalline granules believed to be Shabu.

            Confiscated from their possession were the following: Three (3) packs of transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu MOL 60 grams with SDP Value of Php 408,000; one (1) piece of transparent plastic sachet containing dried/crudes of Marijuana MOL one (1) gram with SDP Value of Php500; Drug money amounting to Php3,660; one (1) unit of Digital Weighing Scale color Silver/Gray; Several Drug paraphernalia; one (1) unit Cal. 45 Pistol NORINCO bearing SN: 304835 inserted with Magazine containing Seven (7) pieces of live ammunition; and one (1) pc of Inner Holster color Black.

            The arrested suspects together with the seized pieces of evidence were brought to Bongao MPS for investigation and proper disposition.
