SULU – Three (3) drug personalities were arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation at Sitio Tanjung, Barangay Kajatian, Indanan, Sulu for peddling illegal drugs.
Report from Sulu Police Provincial Office showed that at about 1:30 PM of June 28,2021, joint personnel of Indanan Municipal Police Station, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company of Sulu, and coordination with PDEA BARMM conducted an Anti – Illegal Drug (Buy Bust) Operation which resulted to the arrest of suspects identified as Montano Hadjula Wallay alias "Tano", DI List, 25 years old, single, jobless, resident of Sitio Laum Niyog, Barangay Kajatian; Ladjabahasa Taina Ammara, male, 40 years old, married, pedicab driver, resident of Zone 2m Tulay, Jolo; and Aldam Mudjahiri Sabiran, male, 20 years old, married, pedicab driver and resident of Sitio Martirez, San Raymundo, Jolo, Sulu.
Operatives recovered from Montano's possessions the following: one (1) transparent heat-sealed sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to shabu; one (1) piece Five Hundred peso bill as buy bust money utilized in the said operation and Php 220.00 pesos believed to be illegal drug proceeds money.
Confiscated from the possession of Ladjabahasa Taina Ammara were:one (1) piece transparent heat-sealed sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; one (1) piece improvised tooter; and One (1) piece cut aluminum foil believed to be drugs paraphernalia. Confiscated from the possession of Aldam Mudjahiri Sabiran were: one (1) piece transparent heat-sealed sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; one (1) piece improvised tooter; and One (1) piece cut aluminum foil believed to be drugs paraphernalia. Also recovered from the area were Four (4) pieces empty plastic sachets believed to be contaminated with suspected illegal drugs/shabu and one used cut/rolled tissue.
After documentation, inventory, and marking of evidence on the site of operation which was witnessed by the Kajatian Barangay Officials, DOJ, and Media representatives, the arrested suspects including confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Indanan Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition. The arrested suspects were properly informed of their constitutional rights in a dialect understood by them.
