            TAWI-TAWI – CIDG and PNP operatives in Tawi-Tawi arrested a man wanted for rape in Barangay Nalil, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi on June 28, 2021.

            The report of Bongao Municipal Police Station revealed that the suspect was identified as Aldin M. Nanol, 42 years old, separated, and resident of Barangay Nalil, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, who had a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape in relation to R.A 7610 issued by the Presiding Judge of 10th Judicial Region, Regional Trial Court, Branch 19, Cagayan De Oro City.

            Aldin is listed as number 2 of the Top Ten Most Wanted Person in Sugbongcogon, Misamis Oriental.  Prior to the arrest, operating PNP personnel said they received information that suspect was hiding and sighted at Barangay Nalil. Acting on this point, a joint operation was conducted that resulted to his arrest. After weeks of surveillance, tracker teams of Subpoena Section, Station Intelligence Branch and Intelligence Unit of Tawi-Tawi swooped down at the area which led to suspect’s arrest.

            Apprehending officers informed the suspect of his constitutional rights. The suspect is now under the custody of Bongao Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.

He encourages the public to actively support the PNP operations against wanted person in the region.
