           WAO, LDS – Two suspected drug dealers were arrested in a buy-bust operation and seized from them some 200 grams of shabu in Wao, LDS Sunday morning.

            Citing reports from PNP DEG and Special Operations Unit BAR, the lead unit of the buy-bust operation, the said buy-bust took place around 10:15 AM of June 27, 2021, at Purok 7, Brgy. East Kilikili, Wao, LDS.

            The suspects identified as Aiman Mangadang Bantuas, 31, farmer, and a resident of Purok 7, Brgy. East Kilikili, Wao, LDS; and Noel Bayot Abas, 45, an auto mechanic from Purok 3, Brgy. Kinura, Kalilangan, Bukidnon agreed to sell shabu to an undercover agent who posed as a poseur buyer.

            Together with PDEA-BAR, Wao MPS, and 1st PMFC LDSPPO operatives, the suspects were successfully arrested and seized from their possession some 24 heat sealed suspected shabu and 4 bundles of boodle money with one genuine PHP1,000 bill from the suspects. The markings, pictorials, and inventory were conducted at the area of operation in the presence of arrested suspects, Nat'l Prosecution Service representative Aljon Naelgas, Brgy East Kilikili Chairman Julian Bunao Jr., and Mr. Joey Dumagpi, local media representative.

            A case for violation of Republic Act 9165 is being readied for filing against the suspects.
