            A drug buy-bust operation was launched by joint elements of 103rd BDE, PDEA BARMM, PIU-LDSPPO, and 500CEB in Marawi City, LDS around 12:30 PM of June 23, 2021.

            LDS PPO reports disclosed that the said operation resulted in the confiscation of more or less 1000 Grams of suspected shabu with a national average price of P6,800,000.00

            The suspect identified as Kasim Dimaporo, 32 years old, male, and a resident of Barangay Basak Malulot, Marawi City agreed to sell shabu to an undercover agent who posed as puseur buyer. However, when the arrest was to be made and after a brief chase, the suspect managed to elude arrest and fled in an unknown direction. A hot pursuit ensued but proved futile as he was nowhere to be found.

            Confiscated and recovered during the drug bust were one (1) piece of heath sealed transparent plastic bag placed inside opened yellow plastic cellophane labeled Guanyinwang with Chinese Characters containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing more or less one (1000) thousand grams with the national average price of six million eight hundred thousand (Php 6,800.000.00) pesos and one (1) piece black paper bag labeled Telepreneur Group.

            A case for violation of Republic Act 9165 is being readied for filing against the suspect who remained at large.

            The Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region remains steadfast, under the PNP Intensified Cleanliness Policy, in fighting the bigger war on illegal drugs. Citing the words of Chief PNP, General Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar - "The PNP offers no compromise for anyone found to be involved in illegal drugs activities. We remain constantly working with PDEA to crush the real enemy”
