In commemoration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines, Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region joins the whole nation in this celebration on March 15, 2021 at PRO BAR Grandstand, Camp BGEN Salipada K Pendatun, Parang, Maguindanao.
PBGEN Samuel P Rodriguez, RD, PRO BAR spearheads the said event with His eminence, Orlando Cardinal Beltran Quevedo, OMI, DD, Archbishop-Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Cotabato, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
The said event is highlighted by the awarding of deserving Priests, Evangelical Leaders and Life Coaches who have been instrumental in strengthening the spiritual being and moral values of PNP personnel.
The birth of Christianity in the Philippines was marked by the first Holy Mass held in Limasawa Island on March 31, 1521. Since then, it has been a strong influence in the culture and character of the Filipino nation.
