Maguindanao - Police Brigadier General Samuel P Rodriguez, Regional Director, PRO BAR led the Send Off Ceremony of Two Hundred Forty (240) troops in Sulu on February 19, 2021 at Camp BGen Salipada K Pendatun, Parang, Maguindanao.

          These troops are part of 572 Patrolman/Patrolwomen who had graduated from Public Safety Basic Recruit Course and will undergo Basic Internal Security Operation Course in Sulu.

    The Basic Internal Security Operations Course is a mandatory training of PNP for Patrolman/Patrolwoman who completed the PNP Field Training Program. It is a training which provides basic knowledge, skills on insurgency, and proper discipline which are vital in anti-insurgency operations.

          "May you genuinely submit yourselves in your training. Not just for you, not just for the PNP, but for the people that we promise to serve and to God Almighty, the one who sealed the oath we took upon entering this organization", PBGen Rodriguez said in his message.

          After the sixty (60) days of training, these 240 police trainees will compose the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 14 (RMFB14) that will be organized in Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi to boost the anti-insurgency and criminality program of PNP in the island provinces of Bangsamoro region.

          The PRO BAR forces is united to fight criminalities, terrorism, and illegal drugs towards the attainment of a peaceful and prosperous Bangsamoro region.
