MAGUINDANAO – Personnel of South Upi Municipal Police Station together with personnel of Provincial Intelligence Branch, Maguindanao Police Provincial Office arrested two of municipal’s most wanted persons for the crime of serious physical injury on February 10, 2021 at Barangay Kuya, South Upi, Maguindanao.

                   Report from South Upi Municipal Police Station revealed that the suspects: identified as Henry Funa Frias, male, 61 years old, married and Renato Labasan Quinlat, 61 years old, married, both residents of Barangay Kuya, had a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Serious Physical Injury issued by the Presiding Judge of Municipal Trial Court, Upi, Maguindanao.

                 Investigation disclosed that South Upi MPS received report from PNP informants and Intelligence operatives that the suspects were spotted at Barangay Kuya. Immediately, Personnel of South Upi Municipal Police Station and Provincial Intelligence Branch, Maguindanao PPO went to the area and sighted the suspects wherein arresting officers served the warrant of arrest. Apprehending officers informed the suspects of their constitutional rights.

             The suspects are now under the custody of South Upi Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
