Sulu – An Illegal Drug Group Leader and his three cohorts belonging to Estino Illegal Drugs Group operating in Sulu were arrested in a police operation in Indanan, Sulu.
Report from Sulu Police Provincial Office disclosed that at about 4:00 PM of January 14, 2021, joint personnel of Indanan Municipal Police Station, 7th SAB, PNP SAF, 2nd PMFC Sulu, 1405th RMFC, and Jolo MPS conducted an Anti – Illegal Drug Operation that resulted to the arrest of suspect identified as Aliyusni T Estino, 43 years old, male, married, jobless, a high value target and illegal drug leader of Estino Drug Group. Estino’s cohorts identified as: Jabir A Jinnul, 21 years old, married; Almasir S Radjaie, 19 years old, married, jobless; and Jackain Peping, 23 years old, married, fisherman, were also arrested by the operatives during the said police operation.
Recovered from the possessions of Estino were more or less 50 grams of white crystalline substance suspected shabu with an estimated market value of Sixty Thousand Pesos (Php 60,000.00), one (1) chamber loaded caliber .45 Pistol Colt 1911 with serial number 477612 with 17 ammunition, two (2) magazines assembles and Six thousand pesos (Php 6,000.00) in different denomination.
Seized from Radjaie possessions were six (6) pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated value of three thousand six hundred pesos (Php3,600.00), one thousand, one hundred fifty-four (Php1,154.00) in different denomination, two (2) pieces of tooter and two (2) pieces of disposable lighter. Suspect Peping was caught on his possession is one (1) piece of small heat-sealed transparent plastic containing shabu with estimated value of one hundred pesos (Php100) and one (1) piece of used aluminum foil believed to be a drug paraphernalia. While suspect Jinnul, seized from his possession was one (1) piece of small heat-sealed transparent plastic containing shabu with estimated value of one hundred pesos (Php100) and one (1) piece of used aluminum foil believed to be a drug paraphernalia.
After documentation, inventory, and marking of evidence on the site of operation, the arrested suspects including the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Indanan Municipal Police Station for thorough investigation and proper disposition.
The arrested suspects were properly informed of their constitutional rights in a dialect understood by them. PRO BAR Regional Director, Police BGen Rodriguez, lauded the operating unit and reiterates that PRO BAR is determined in eradicating illegal drugs in the Bangsamoro region. ###
