The Chief of Philippine National Police, Police General Debold M Sinas personally took part on the historic event and represents the 223,000 strong members of the PNP as the turn-over of Cotabato City and 63 Barangays of North Cotabato to the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao fully realized on December 15, 2020.

            Following the said reception, the two generals received Secretary Eduardo Año of the Department of Interior of Local Government as the Secretary spearheads the historic turn-over. As a genuine expression of support, Police General Sinas is one among the National Leaders who graced the turn-over.

                The leader of the premiere law institution of the land deeply expressed the PNP’s support to the evolving directions of the BARMM and expressed full support to the gains of the Bangsamoro people. As an instrument of peace, the CPNP assures that the PNP will continue to help build a coherent, unified, and solid community for the Bangsamoro people and bring this region to a promising future in the Philippine Society and Economy. He also reminds our Bangsamoro brothers and sisters that peace is possible, that peace is a choice, and that the PNP as a whole supports any idea of real transformation.

                PNP is one with the Bangsamoro people in creating something meaningful in the name of peace and progress. After the main event, Police General Sinas spares a moment of his time and distribute face masks to the Bangsamoro Government employees and personally expressed his utmost recognition and appreciation to the unsung heroes of BARMM who disposed laudable acts of service to the Bangsamoro people.
