Parang, Maguindanao – The 25th Chief of the Philippine National Police, Police General Debold M Sinas, visited the “Home of the Braves” and service-oriented Bangsamoro Police on his first Command Visit together with his directorial staff on December 7, 2020.

            General Sinas, a former regional staff of this PRO and now the newly installed Chief PNP, received a heartwarming welcome with a red carpet by the PRO BAR personnel through Arrival Honors hosted by Police Brigadier General Samuel P Rodriguez, Regional Director, Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region at Camp BGen Salipada K Pendatun, Parang, Maguindanao.

            During his visit, General Sinas presided over a command conference attended by the Regional Director, PRO BAR Command Group, members of the Regional Division Staff, Provincial Directors, and other staffs that pave the way to discuss the security matters in the Bangsamoro region.

            In his guidance, the Chief, PNP lauded Datu Piang MPS personnel especially the Chief of Police for the successful execution of its mandate of defending and protecting the community particularly Datu Piang harassment which resulted in an armed engagement between the terrorists and Datu Piang, MPS personnel.

            General Sinas reiterates that the police vehicle burned by BIFF terror group will be replaced and additional firearms will be given to PRO BAR to boost the morale and welfare of the Bangsamoro police. He also assures that PNP will file criminal charges against those terrorists responsible for the said incidents. He also urges PRO BAR to conduct reassessment of the incident and reinforce its police operations and security measures to prevent similar threats posed by violent extremists in the whole Bangsamoro people.

      Likewise, Police BGen Rodriguez expressed his earnest gratitude for the outpouring support showed by our C, PNP, PGEN Debold M Sinas, during his recent visit to PRO BAR. Indeed, the act of kindness of our Chief, PNP boosted the morale of the Bangsamoro Police Force.
