            SOUTH UPI, Maguindanao – Personnel of South Upi Municipal Police Station (PA) apprehended two (2) individuals for violation of Republic Act No 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) at Barangay Romongaob, South Upi, Maguindanao on October 26, 2020.


            Arrested persons were identified as Davis Don B Corcuera, 34 years old, male, married and Arnel C Tumbaga, 26 years old, male, married, both residents of Barangay Romongaob, South Upi, Maguindanao.


            In a report of South Upi Municipal Police Station to Police Brigadier General Samuel P Rodriguez, Regional Director of Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region stated that about 9:45 o’clock in the evening of October 26, 2020, a certain Abogado Dida reported to the said police station that the suspects entered his house at the Market Site of Romongaob. Immediately, personnel of said station proceeded to the reported place and thereby, apprehended the suspects and confiscated under their possession and control are the following: one (1) unit of Caliber .45 pistol with Serial Number 523875 loaded with five (5) live ammunitions and magazine.


            Arrested suspects were brought to the police station for documentation, investigation and proper disposition.
