SULTAN SA BARONGIS, Maguindanao – The Personnel of Sultan Sa Barongis Municipal Police Station and 40 Infantry Battalion, PA apprehended an alleged drug pusher in Sultan Sa Barongis, Maguindanao on October 22, 2020 at about 7 o’clock in the morning.
Elements of Sultan Sa Barongis MPS identified the alleged drug pusher as Salahudin Alib Salbo, 35 years old, male, married, farmer and resident of Barangy Bulud, Sultan Sa Barongis in Maguindanao
Police report of Sultan sa Barongis MPS disclosed that a concerned citizen reported the drug pot session at the abandoned house in Barangay Bulod. Immediately, the Sultan Sa Barongis police together with the member of 40 Infantry Battalion, PA proceeded to the reported area that resulted to the apprehension of the suspect and confiscation on his possession of three (3) plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be amphetamine hydrochloride known as Shabu.
The suspect and pieces of evidence recovered are in the custody of Sultan Sa Barongis Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition while appropriate charges are set to be filed against him.
Police Brigadier General Samuel P Rodriguez, Regional Director of Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region commended the operating units and reiterates that this buy bust police operation was successfully conducted through the support of public by providing relevant information to the police authorities. He further encourages the community to actively support the Anti-Drug Campaign of the Philippine National Police.
