PARANG, Maguindanao- 199 qualified recruits for CY-2020, 2nd Cycle Patrolman/Patrolwoman Recruitment Program (Regular Quota) of the Police Regional Office of Bangsamoro Region, took an oath on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Notre Dame of Parang, Parang, Maguindanao.
The batch is composed of 164 males and 35 females. They will have a six-months training at the Regional Training Center of PRO BAR for an intensive and progressive training designed for newly-appointed police non-commissioned officers to provide them with the basic knowledge and skills in community policing, administration, combat operation and tactics. This will be followed by another six months of immersion or Field Training Program that involves actual experience in patrolling, traffic control, and investigation works by all members of the PNP as a requirement for the permanency of their appointment.
During the oath taking, a ceremonial turnover of Land Bank ATM Card was also part of the program. Starting day 1 in the police service, the new recruits will be eligible to receive PHP 29, 668 monthly basic salary aside from other allowances and non-cash benefits. Also, the granting of the issuance of the Initial Clothing Allowance was provided; composing of 200 pairs of Field Service Uniform, combat boots, Blue and Black belts with buckle, PNP Field Cap, Olive Drab Green T-Shirt, White V-neck T-Shirt and PNP Grab Bag. The batch’s Initial Clothing Allowance will cover the cause of maintaining uniforms that the recruits must wear daily.
PBGen Manuel M Abu, Regional Director, PRO BAR on his speech urges the recruits to be loyal to their sworn duty, always be respectful and follow the rules of the PNP organization and be devoted in providing public service.
