I strongly believed that we have in front of us now the most qualified applicants who have just now joined the official Roster of Personnel of PROARMM.” he said referring to the new police recruits.

“For me, I considered this recruitment as the cleanest, most orderly and sanest. I am very proud of these new officers as my product during my stewardship of PROARMM as the Regional Director. I know they have undergone a recruitment process which is based on the rule of merit and fitness and the principle of equal opportunity to the recruitment.”he added.

In fact, 258 applicants undergo the process but only 173 took their oath; 44 failed in the PPE, 31 in the PMDE, 5 in the PAT, 3 in the FCI and 2 overage applicants failed to secure the required age waiver hence disqualified to join in the Oath Taking Ceremony.

He also congratulated the parents of the new police officers for their support and asked them to continually guide them on their developing career and new profession amidst numbers of policemen especially new police officers 1 who had already incurred charges/cases or being dismissed from the PNP service because of their wrong doings. “Sana po ay ating panindigan ang suportang ating ibinigay sa kanila, ipagpatuloy nating maging impuwensiya ng kabutihan sa kanila upang sa gayon ay makinabang hinid lamang ang Pambansang Kapulisan, mas higit pa dito ang taong-bayan na lahat kami ay nanumpang pagsilbihan.”

Likewise he praised those applicants who failed. “You did your best. Make sure to have noted your reasons for failing and please do some effort to correct them,” RD AVENIDO added.
