Heavy Rains Did Not Stop PROARMM’s Celebration of 114th Philippine Independence Day
Despite the heavy rains that befallen on this part of the region starting on the early morning of June 12, 2012, PROARMM joyously celebrated the 114th Proclamation of Philippine Independence.
Although the strong rain caused the delay of the occasion, it never hindered officers and men of PRO ARMM led by the Regional Director PCSUPT MARIO A AVENIDO in warmly proceeding with the program which was held at the lobby of the Regional Headquarters Administration Building.
Two personnel of the PRO ARMM’s Regional Public Safety Battalion braved the bad weather and hoist the Philippine Flag as the participants, others soaked from the rain, proudly sang our National Anthem “Lupang Hinirang”.
It was followed by the recitation of the Panunumpa ng katapatan sa Watawat. RD AVENIDO then delivered the Chief, PNP’s message. “Isang magandang maulan na umaga po sa ating lahat!” was the RD’s opening greetings to the audience.
The program ended at about 9:00am.
