]]>CLAIR is very happy to announce the long-awaited return of the JET Video Contest, being held for the first time in 7 years! All JET Programme alumni as well as current participants are invited to submit self-made short videos related to their experiences in Japan. The purpose of this contest is to highlight the various charms of Japan as seen through the eyes of former and current JETs. The creators of exceptional videos will be invited on a trip to Tokyo for an award ceremony, with their flight and accommodation paid for, and have the chance to be rewarded for their work. ]]>A new promotional video aimed at Japanese companies who are looking to hire former JET Programme participants has been released!
JET Programme participants are highly sought after by companies who are looking to hire foreign workers from within Japan. This video promotes former JETs as cultural ambassadors that are excellent at communication, flexible, and well versed in Japanese culture and way of life.
The goal of this video is to spread how talented former JETs are, and to get as many companies as possible to consider them for employment.

]]>Twice every year, CLAIR collects contact information from non-reappointing JET participants in the ‘After JET Contact Details Survey’. This is done in order to assist JET Programme participants in maintaining their connections with Japan and the JET Programme after leaving JET, and to provide them with networking and career support opportunities.
Information about events for returnee JETs will be sent from CLAIR overseas offices and Japanese Embassies and Consulates to the e-mail address you provide. CLAIR will also forward your contact information to one JET Alumni Association (JETAA) chapter you request to join. Information about JETAA chapters can be found on the JET Programme homepage (https://www.jetprogramme.org/en/jetaa). Finally, participants will also be able to request to receive information from CLAIR and other relevant organisations if the need arises, and sign up to receive the JET Programme alumni newsletter, JET Streams.
